Hopper's Playroom & The Lovely Neighbor

On a lovely sunny day, Hopper and I were getting on the bike for an adventure when a neighbor lady approached me, and through some pantomime I ascertained that she was offering for Hopper to play. It was unclear if she meant at her house or in her yard but I vowed to ask Keiko to contact her and see her tomorrow.

After she contacted Keiko to explain that she had some toys to give us, we went over to collect and bow in appreciation. What we didn't expect was to come home with boxes and boxes of super cool toys including trains, legos, blocks, ball & shoot towers, a jungle gym and a ball gym!

We then entered into a little gifting war, us giving them a nice bottle of French wine and them returning with a most delicious crisp Asian pear.

We had gotten him a car track to play with his beloved miniatures which are even more fantastic than Matchbox. And daddy made him his very own teepee from scrap paper in the studio. So that has made the rounds at home, outside and in the studio. Plus he gets to play with Becky and Brandon's cat Monny (short for Monmonru).

Hopper has never had it so good, a whole play room for his stuff and a tame cat at his disposal. And honestly, in the first week that we had the jungle up we saw a physicality difference in him. He's stronger and more coordinated. Damn he's gonna hate going back to Amsterdam with his tiny little toy table.

PS. The lovely neighbor doesn't want any of it back so when we leave Ira gets the whole booty.
