Open Studio Day & Studio Update

About a month ago there was a studio visit day for the public. All the artists gave talks about what they're up to, how they've fared, and what they've found as inspiration. It was also great for the artists to hear from the others about they're work as it's been pretty much every man to himself with schedules and they all work in different spaces.

So it was kind of a tour and after we a small group of us had lunch together afterwards.

Nik is very happy with his work flow and getting inspiration from the many aspects of Kamiyama. He's never worked on such a large scale before and felt the need to challenge himself. If you know his work, then you know that for him to make something big, it's big. 7 x 4 m, 23 x 13 ft !!!!!

Here are some photos from that day, with the incomplete work, and some other shots I took in the studio over the weeks. Enjoy!!!
